Nature is a wonderful thing and when we make compost all we are doing is speeding up the eco systems natural process of decomposition. The end result produces a rich compost that helps us produce more vegetation.
To achieve this we systematically apply layers of bio degradable material in a composter so that nature can begin its work in breaking down the waste into compost.
The experienced gardener will know the right amount of leaves, grass cuttings and other waste material to speed up or slow down decomposition thus making a scientific process into an art. |
